Albert Voorn has returned to the international show arena, riding Eurocommerce horses. At CSI** Le Mans, the Olympic silver medalist of Sydney 2000 placed 6th aboard Eurocommerce Tobalio. Voorn won a 1.35 m class riding Eurocommerce Lexington.
“Both horses have extreme quality”, says Albert. “Which means they need time. And that is exactly what I’m going to do: I’m going to take the time that’s needed. And meanwhile I thoroughly enjoy the chance to ride these two fantastic horses.”
Voorn explains that it was never his intention to quit riding. “The last few years we’ve been focusing on our yard, the Golden Dream Stables. Now I’m ready – and young enough – to get something going again. I’m very grateful to Eurocommerce for giving me the opportunity.”
