Three Lord Leatherdale's in Pavo final

Aug 16, 2011 - 13:31

The first crop of Lord Leatherdale made a huge impression in the Pavo Cup, the Dutch national competition for young dressage horses. No less than four offspring were selected for the semi final. One of them had been sold, the other three ranked in the top ten!

Severo Jurado Lopez rode the powerful AES-approved Chapter Leatherdale (breeder: P. van Engelen) to tenth place. The impressive Corleone (breeder: A. Verschure) ranked eighth and received the title of best gelding. The KWPN approved super talent Chippendale (breeder: P. van de Brandt) took fourth place. Riding judges Claudia Rüscher and Sander Marijnissen admired Chippendale's work ethic and his ability to collect.
