Once more Cardento VDL proved himself in the Swedish championships for young horses as a progenitor of top show jumpers. The extreme high numbers of Cardento offspring placed in the championships was remarkable.

Champion of the 7 year olds was Twiggen (Cardento x Gibson), ridden by Jens Wickstrom. In 4^th place came Thriller P (Cardento x Lucky Light), ridden by Lisen Bratt Fredricson, and 6^th place was for another Cardento offspring: Carpe Diem af Pan, ridden by Victoria Almgren.

Also the free jumping championship for 3 year olds had a Cardento offspring as champion: Care for Love, who received a convincing 9,1. Reserve champion was Lovely Boy (Sheraton x Landlord), who was rewarded with 8,8.

In the 5 year old class reserve title was for Cornelia (s.Corland), ridden by Victoria Almgren. 5^th place was for Carduzo (Cardento x Landlord), ridden by Jenny Berglund. A very nice 6^th was for the approved stallion and remarkable jumper Corporal VDL, (Cardento x Grosso Z), ridden by Magnus Osterland. Other offspring of Cardento took 7^th, 10^th, 13^th and 15^th place.

Reserve champion of the 4 year old show jumpers was Al Cendo (Al Cantino x Cardento), ridden by Olof Smith. Candlelight K (Cardento  x Everest) took 5^th place, ridden by Stina Lilje and 6^th place was for VDL Stud-stallion Camillo VDL (Douglas x Baloubet du Rouet), ridden by Magnus Osterlund. Cardine F (Cardento x Dammen) took 11^th place, ridden by Jenny Ostberg.
