Two impressive foals by Conrad were the highlights of the Concours d'Élevage in Saint-Lo. A group of judges, amongst whom dr. Ludwig Christmann of the Hanoverian Society, selected the well developed and masculin Canrad des Guy as winner of the foal group. Chorus de Kervel (Conrad x Rosire) came in second place, followed by Champagne d'Orville (v. Levistan). Their breeders received cheques of no less than 10.000, 6.000 and 4.000 euro. The Concours d'Élevage had a total prize money of 40.000 euro.

The judges Guido Bruyninx, Philippe le Jeune and Denis Brohier evaluated 65 two and three year olds in free jumping. The powerful Flash de Hus Z (s. For Hero) was the winner in the two year old divison. Valentino d'Elte was selected as the best three year old.
