Hello Sanctos wins Grand Prix Wellington

Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo van de Molendreef x Nabab de Reve) and Scott Brash have won the Grand Prix of Wellington during the 13th week of the WEF in Wellington, Florida.

 

A 1.40m class against the clock was won by Absie (Corland x Heartbreaker) and Andrew Ramsay.

 

Alpha VDL (Corland x Emilion) and his rider Darragh Kenny placed 3rd in the 1.45m class last week. Zippo CG (Hold Up Premier x Quinar) and his rider Manuel Espinosa placed 5th.

Both horses were sold in auctions by the VDL Stud: Last year Alpha VDL was the topseller in the WEF Sport Horse Auction and Zippo CG was sold as a 3 year old in the El Cortijo auction in Guatemala.

2nd 1.45m class against the clock: Zander (Cantos x Saygon), ridden by McLain Ward
10th 1.45m class against the clock: Carneyhaugh Manx (Douglas x Hampton Clover), ridden by Peter Lutz
8th 1.45m class against the clock: Andretti (Orame x Ahorn), ridden by Schuyler Riley
10th 1.45m class against the clock: Texas P (v. Cardento), ridden by Luis Felipe de Azevedo jr.
2nd 1.40m class: Absie and Andrew Ramsay
4th 1.40m class: Welfare (Pacific x Zortin), ridden by Andrew Ramsay
2nd 7-year old class: Chapeau (Indoctro x Ramiro), ridden by Ronan McGuigan
5th 7- year old class: Coberlina (Carolus II x Corland), ridden by Peter Lutz
