VDL stallions took off very well in the first round of the KWPN/KNHS stallion competition.
The 1.30m/35m class was won by the scopy stallion Dallas VDL (Douglas x Heartbreaker) and his rider Jur Vrieling.
Durango VDL (Zirocco Blue x Lux) ridden by Lennard de Boer jumped a nice clear round in the jump-off and finished in 3rd place.
In the 1.20m class there was a 2nd place for Etoulon VDL (Toulon x Calvados), who jumped with an extra technique and scope. He is ridden by Jur Vrieling.
In 3rd place finished Everglade VDL (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Emilion), ridden by Lennard de Boer. He jumped a very nice and easy clear round in a fast time.
Freeman VDL (Emmerton x Chin Chin) and Fabriano (Casall x Chin Chin) came to start in the 1.10m class. In this class horses get judged on their technique and riding between the fences over 2 rounds. Both stallions did very well and received high scores.
Freeman VDL, ridden by Jur Vrieling, received both rounds an 8,5 for his technique and an 8,5 for his riding between the fences.
Fabriano VDL, ridden by James Billington, received both rounds an 8 for his technique and an 8 for his riding between the fences.
