Sosaths present their outstanding jumping and dressage sires for the new breeding season

Feb 14, 2017 - 10:39

Breeders from all over the world went to Vechta last weekend to see the 20 dressage and jumping stallions of Sosath's. Thousands of viewers watched the show via internet. All of them experienced an entertaining show with honest, professional comments of Gerd Sosath in a unique personal atmosphere. Many stallions' mothers and relatives were shown live or on the screens.

Out of these stallions, many are from Sosath's own breeding. Three stallions are new to the collection, which were especially examined by the interested viewers. The Oldenburg stallion champion Fürst Fabrice was first shown under saddle. He impressed with his special rideability and his gaits. The new jumpers were shown, too: Lyon, licensed in Verden, son of Lord Argentinus x Lex Lugar, showed the first impressions under saddle and his four-year-old stable neighbour Comme Prévu by Comme il faut x Quinta Real stroke with his first jumps under saddle.

The older dressage and jumping stallions were shown in the usual easy way of riding. The experienced jumpers Cador, Casino Berlin and Casiro showed their potential over the highest fences. Their younger colleagues Campitello, Casalido, Casino Grande, Diamant de Landor, Diamant de Plaisir, Naldo and Ogano impressed in an age-appropriate course. Particularly apparent were the Florencio-son Florenz and For Dance by For Romance within the dressage section. But Beniro, Devonport and Honoré du Soir also convinced with their performances.

A special greeting to all viewers came from Florida: Nayel Nassar, who won the World cup class at Palm Beach Masters with the Sosath-bred Lordan by Lordanos x Landor S last week, commented his ride, thanked the breeder and wished all spectators a nice evening.

After the last horse, the whole Sosath family, the team and the helpers waved good-bye to the enthusiastic viewers under the motto "Horses for our children".

Breeders have the opportunity to watch the whole show in the archive of ClipMyHorse.tv and soon also on youtube.com. A DVD of the event will be available in the beginning of March.

The next events are upcoming soon:
On Easter Saturday, April 15th, the traditional Open Day takes place in Lemwerder. There will be an exhibition about horses, riders, garden and hobby, lectures and demonstrations can be viewed by the guests, the children can explore many animals and do pony-riding. In the afternoon, the stallions will be presented and the 9th Lemwerder foal championship will take place as well.
