Ermelo - The KWPN has investigated which breeder has bred the most Grand prix horses since 1990. The VDL Stud came in first place with no less than 43 breeding products that have reached the highest level, of which nine the VDL Stud is co-breeder.
These include Grand Prix showjumpers Farell VDL (Cardento x Becherry (Ster, voorl. Keur, Preferent, Prestatie) v. Stakkato), Bubalu Elite (Baloubet du Rouet x Zancara (Keur, Preferent, Prestatie) v. Nimmerdor), Southwind (Baloubet du Rouet x Helena (Keur, Preferent, Prestatie) v Ahorn), Celena VDL (Mr. Blue x Wendela (Ster, voorl. Keur, Preferent, Prestatie) v Chin Chin), Daylight (Baloubet du Rouet x Starlight v. Stakkato), Emilion Preferent (Wellington x Ramirha (Keur, Preferent) v. Farnese) and Ahorn (Nimmerdor x M.Hyazinthe v. Ladykiller).
